Co-Creators of Our Reality

You say, “This is my life.”

But your life is also your mother’s fear, her gentle touch; your father’s silence, his unspoken courage. Your life is your sibling’s imagination, the city’s noise, the comfort of the rain, the forest’s patient breath.

You are part of the synthesis of our culture, the ways of the world written in forgotten ink, dreamt when the world was young and magical realities abound.

You are in the dreams of strangers you will never meet.

Systems Thinking is in one with Joseph Campbell  when he wrote: "Nothing stands alone; you are the meeting place of a thousand causes and a thousand possibilities."

In the exploration of the science of consciousness, we get reacquainted with wisdom of the old sages: everything is interconnected.

Eventually,  like streams running into rivers, and rivers in to the sea, we return to the One.

That you are not a separate pilgrim on a lonely road; you are the road dreaming of walking itself.

The sacredness of life says - in a language far older than our sun - "we are the universe, experiencing itself.”

And when we have told our stories, and the camp fire fades into embers, we then drift into a comforting silence.

In that sacred stillness, we do not merely find our own hearts again,

we touch the quiet in which stars first heard

the invitation to burn.

Deep in that sacred silence, we realize an ancient wisdom.

That when we stop obsessing on being “someone,”

the universe opens the door that shows us  how vast we have always been.

We become the dreams we have always dreamt we were.

Soon enough, we will truly walk under the celestial winds and twinkling stars of the great unknown.

And I would say, in the deepest recesses of you,

there I find myself as well.
